The Franklin Elementary School District Education Foundation (FESDEF) is a non-profit corporation working with parents and the community to strengthen public education.

Why does Franklin Elementary School District need an education foundation?

FESDEF does not want the educational programs offered by Franklin Elementary School to suffer due to the budget crisis in Sacramento.  Our children are guaranteed a public education.  FESDEF believes Franklin parents are committed to providing their children the best possible education.  

California ranks 47th among the states as one of the lowest in per pupil funding resulting in public schools that struggle to met minimum standards for education.  Over 400 school districts in California have responded by creating education foundations, many founded over 20 years ago.  These foundations represent communities where parents have decided to regain some control over the quality of their children's education.

Our Mission

FESDEF is committed to generating funds to help support the programs and projects of the Franklin Elementary School by receiving contributions from the public and making donations to the school.
